Announcement on the resignation of Superintendent John Picard
February 28 2025
Our Superintendent of Schools, Mr. John Picard, has recently informed the Board of Directors that he will be retiring at the end of the summer of 2025.
Mr. Picard is our founding Superintendent. He has overseen the growth of Alberta Classical Academy from a single school in Calgary to three campuses in two cities that together serve over 1200 children and employ almost 150 staff—all in the space of a little over three years.
We are grateful to Mr. Picard for his dedication and service to ACA. We will be commencing a search for a new Superintendent imminently.
On behalf of the Board of Directors, we are wishing Mr. Picard all that is good.
Sincerely,
Francis Fast,
Board Chair of Alberta Classical Acadey
