2025-2026 School Fees
Academic Year Fee Schedule
At Alberta Classical Academy, we are dedicated to delivering a high-quality, tuition-free classical education. However, like other public schools, families are required to pay some annual fees to cover program costs that are not funded by Alberta Education. These fees pay for student classroom supplies, educational field trips, co-curricular activities, and other enrichments. Additionally, a small portion of fees are used to ensure access for all families by partially funding fee waivers for those who meet our low-income thresholds. This approach allows us to maintain our high standards of education while promoting educational choice.
In previous years, fees were broken down into specific categories: the Instructional Resource fee ($185/year), School Supply Program fee ($70/year), and the Home Library Program fee ($40/year). For the 2025-2026 academic year, these categories have been consolidated into a single Enrichment Fee which is $315/year for all students in grades 1-10 and $180/year for all students in kindergarten. This simplified structure ensures we can continue to deliver the same level of enrichment while streamlining fee management. Some additional fees may apply for school trips, optional extracurricular programs, bussing, utilizing the Full-Day Kindergarten Program, or attending after-school programs.
